
Snowshoe hike at the Lago della Vacca
Service Description
Beautiful snowshoeing excursion, immersed in the wonderful scenery of the southernmost part of the Adamello Park, admiring fairytale snow-covered landscapes and wild peaks that dominate the landscape, such as Corna Bianca or Cornone di Blumone. We will reach the beautiful Lago della Vacca, where we will enjoy a well-deserved lunch break, and then return following the same ascent route. Difficulty: WT2/3 Elevation gain: approximately 900 D+ Effort: Medium-High Duration: all day Packed lunch The price includes: VAT, accompaniment with a Professional Guide, planning and management of the excursion, training on correct progression using snowshoes and poles, information on the flora, fauna and geology of the surrounding environment, demonstration of the use of avalanche transceiver-shovel-probe, accident insurance for clients, insurance in case of rescue, satellite messaging in case of emergency. The price does not include: half board in the refuge, packed lunches or lunches in the refuge (in the latter case, the cost of the guide's lunch will be divided among the participants), equipment rental, expenses for any shared transport, everything not included in the "the price includes" section. Meeting point: 8:30 am in Bazena, Breno, BS. (Possibility to arrange carpooling). The client must arrive at the meeting point or the starting point of the excursion at the time indicated during the communication that will follow after registration. After registration, the client will be added to a temporary WhatsApp group that will be used for service communications, updates and useful information for the excursion. Necessary equipment: Waterproof hiking boots or shoes, no sneakers; Ski pants or waterproof overpants; Ski gloves; Hiking backpack with a minimum capacity of 20 liters with wide shoulder straps, ergonomic backrest and waist belt for weight distribution; Clothing appropriate for the season and weather, in any case it is always recommended to dress in layers; Rain jacket; Down jacket; Hat and gloves; Trekking poles with snow baskets; Snowshoes (available for rent); Avalanche transceiver, shovel and probe (available for rent); Headlamp; Minimum one and a half liters of water is mandatory, it is recommended to bring mineral salts and/or supplements; Food to your liking.
