Trekking Wild Blue Soft

Soft version (without climbing passages) of the famous trek created in the 70s. We will completely immerse ourselves in nature and local culture walking among cliffs, shepherds' shelters and coves with an incredible sea, enjoying the colors and smells of Sardinia. Every evening and every morning we will be reached at the stopover points by the jeep / dinghy that will bring us the catering and will collect the heavy luggage and the tents to take them to the next stopover point.

DETAILED PLAN:

Day 1 | Arrival at the Refuge

Arrival at the Refuge by own means. Check-in and allocation of bungalows for the night. The bungalows are simple wooden houses equipped with 2 bunk beds. You sleep with your own sleeping bag. The bathrooms are shared with the camping area. 

Typical Sardinian dinner with roasted meats on skewers.

Day 2 | Refuge - Ginnirco 

Morning: breakfast and off-road transfer to Pedra Longa for the start of the trek. 

Evening: Baggage delivery and ready dinner in Gennirco. Dinner includes vegetables in oil, coppa, goat cheese, kid stewed with peas, fruit, bread, dessert, water, wine, coffee and digestive.

DURATION ON FOOT: about 6h DEGREE OF DIFFICULTY: EE ALTITUDE DIFFERENCE: 800m downhill and 600m uphill.

Day 3 | Ginnirco - Porto Pedrosu/Cuau - Irbidossili

Morning: Delivery of breakfast, water, packed lunches and baggage and waste collection. Breakfast includes coffee, tea, milk, honey, jam, ricotta or yoghurt, cake, bread. 

Evening: Baggage delivery and ready dinner in Porto Cuau. Dinner includes: vegetables in oil, sheep's cheese, baked aubergines, octopus salad with potatoes, fruit, bread, dessert, water, wine, coffee and digestive.

TIME OF WALKING: about 6h DEGREE OF DIFFICULTY: AND ALTITUDE DIFFERENCE: 450 meters uphill and 650 meters downhill

Day 4 | Irbidoxyl - Goloritzé - Golgo

Morning: delivery of breakfast, water, packed lunches and baggage and waste collection 

Evening: Baggage delivery. Dinner at the Refuge. Dinner and overnight in bungalow.

TIME OF WALKING: about 6h DEGREE OF DIFFICULTY: AND ALTITUDE DIFFERENCE: 450 meters uphill and 650 meters downhill

Day 5 | Golgo - Ispuligidenia - Biriala - Bacu Su Padente

Morning: Breakfast, water delivery, packed lunches. 

Evening: Baggage delivery and ready dinner in Ololbissi. Dinner includes vegetables in oil, raw ham, veal stew with potatoes, fruit, bread, dessert, water, wine, coffee and digestive.

TIME OF WALKING: about 6h plus short journey by dinghy DEGREE OF DIFFICULTY: EE DIFFERENCE IN ALTITUDE: 400m uphill and 5500m downhill

Day 6 | Bacu Su Padente - Cala Sisine - Refuge

Morning: Delivery of breakfast, water, packed lunches and baggage and waste collection 

Evening: Return to the Refuge by off-road vehicle from Cala Sisine, Plane and Murta. It will be possible to evaluate, depending on the weather and sea conditions, a return by rubber boat to Santa Maria Navarrese, so you will have the opportunity to observe the entire imposing cliff and the route from the coast. In this case there will be a supplement for the transfer by dinghy. 

Dinner and overnight stay in a bungalow at the Refuge.

TIME OF WALKING: about 5h LEVEL OF DIFFICULTY: EE ALTITUDE DIFFERENCE: 350m uphill and 600m downhill

Day 7 | Departure

Cost  1190€  (min. 4 people). Registration is considered completed upon payment of the deposit of € 750.

It is possible to repeat the event even on non-calendar dates, at the request of the customer.

The fee includes: 

- Professional Guide UIMLA International Mountain Leader

- organization and management of the trek

- overnight stays in tents or shelters

- meals indicated in the detailed program

- logistics of transporting heavy luggage and tents by jeep and dinghy to the stop points

- catering for breakfast, packed lunch and dinner at the stopover points

- possibility to use satellite messaging in case of emergency

- customer accident insurance

The fee does not include:

- transport costs to reach the starting point of the trek 

- meals not indicated in the detailed program

- personal expenses

- €30 municipal ticket for bivouacs

- anything not expressly indicated under "the price includes"

Meeting point: directly at the Goloritzé Cooperative Refuge in the afternoon/evening of 2 June. 

The customer must show up at the meeting point or starting point  excursion at the time indicated in the communication that will follow after  registration. At the end of the registration the customer will be added to a   temporary whatsapp group which will be used for service communications, updates and  useful information for the excursion.

Mandatory material

Boots or boots, no sneakers;

Hiking backpack with a minimum capacity of 20 liters with wide shoulder straps, ergonomic backrest and waist belt for weight distribution;

Bag or backpack for transporting material to be entrusted to the jeep/dinghy (max 15 kg);

Clothing in relation to the season and the weather, in any case it is always advisable to dress in layers and with long trousers;

Fleece;

Rain jacket;

Swimming suit;

Compulsory minimum water reserve of two liters, recommended to have mineral salts and/or supplements;

mattress;

Sleeping bag;

Glass;

Dish;

Silverware;

Front light;

First aid kit with plasters for blisters;

A small microfiber towel.
