Trekking Huayhuash High Route

The Cordillera Huayhuash is the most important mountain in the region, along with the spectacular Nevado Yerupajá (6,634 m), the second highest peak in Peru.

Along its 30 km, there are six peaks exceeding 6,000 m.

The Cordillera Huayhuash circuit is ranked among the three most beautiful hikes in the world.

The Alta Via is a less traveled 100 km loop, much more challenging and undoubtedly more spectacular, taking us to touch the sky.

This complete circuit is the best way to fully appreciate the grandeur and purity of these snow-capped peaks of rare beauty. The days of trekking include crossing high-altitude passes, reaching 5,000 meters. Every day, the effort is rewarded with stunning scenery, all with a magical atmosphere. Overnight stays take place in tented camps located in sheltered locations, on the shores of glacial lakes or in alpine meadows, in a unique and unparalleled environment.
