About the event
The Sentiero Roma is one of the most beautiful high-altitude routes in the Italian Alps. It takes place at altitudes between 2300-3000 m and is dominated by the walls of the beautiful Val Masino and Val di Mello, Pizzo Ligoncio, Pizzo Badile, Cengalo, Cima di Zocca and the imposing Monte Disgrazia.
With a 5-day itinerary we will travel together a challenging ring, with numerous equipped sections and breathtaking passes, for an immersion in wild nature and the beauty that only it can offer.
DETAILED PROGRAM:
Day 1 | Bagni di Masino - Rifugio Omio
Ascent to the splendid Rifugio Omio along an alternative itinerary that will take us through the wild Val Merdarola, along little-beaten paths and, at times, not easy to find, until reaching the Bocchetta di Medaccio, gateway to the beautiful Valle dell'Oro, dominated by Pizzo Lingoncio and Punta della Sfinge, well-known destinations for climbers.
Once we arrive…
