About the event
Snowshoe hike in the fantastic Val da Camp, with an overnight stay at the Saoseo Refuge. Superb snowy panoramas, frozen lakes and peaks exceeding 3000m will accompany us on our hike in the wild nature of the Swiss Alps. During the two days there will be several moments of demonstration of the use of emergency equipment (artva, shovel and probe).
Program
January 6th
Arrival by car in Sfazù (Poschiavo) and ascent on snowshoes to the Saoseo Hut of the Swiss Alpine Club. Dinner and overnight at the refuge.
January 7th
Ascent to Passo di Val Viola (border with Italy), return to the refuge and descent to the cars for the return.The itinerary is subject to verification of the stability conditions of the snowpack.

The fee includes: accompaniment with a Professional Guide, planning and management of the excursion, half board in a refuge, customer accident insurance, insurance in the event of recovery, satellite messaging in the event of an emergency. The fee does not include: packed lunches or in a refuge (in the latter case the cost of the guide's lunch must be divided among the participants), equipment rental, costs for any shared transport, anything not included in the item "the fee includes" .
Registration will be considered completed upon payment of the deposit of €100 (coverage of shelter costs and material rental).
Meeting point: 6:00 in Pedrengo
The customer must present himself at the meeting point or at the excursion starting point at the time indicated in the communication that will follow after registration.
At the end of the registration, the customer will be added to a temporary whatsapp group which will be used for service communications, updates and useful information for the excursion.
Boots or waterproof boots, no sneakers;
Ski pants or waterproof overpants;
ski gloves;
Hiking backpack with a minimum capacity of 20 liters with wide shoulder straps, ergonomic backrest and waist belt for weight distribution;
Clothing in relation to the season and the weather, in any case it is always advisable to dress in layers;
Rain jacket;
Down filled comforter;
Cap and gloves;
Snowshoes (available for hire);
Sticks with washer;
Artva, shovel and probe (available for hire);
Compulsory water reserve of one and a half liters minimum, recommended to have mineral salts and/or supplements;
Food to your taste and liking.
For equipment rental, it is necessary to notify a few days in advance.
