About the event
Snowshoeing in the enchanting Val Bedretto, extreme NW corner of the Canton of Ticino. Extremely panoramic, this route will first take us in the direction of the Nufenen Pass (Nufenenpass) and then deviate towards the N to reach the Alpe di Cruina and the Cave delle Pigne, with the lake of the same name.
Packed lunch at the lake, admiring the infinite expanse of peaks that extends before our eyes.
Downhill, we will reach the Capanna Piansecco, a CAS refuge, where we can refresh ourselves with a well-deserved beer, before embarking on the final descent towards All'Acqua, completing a beautiful circular tour.

The fee includes: accompaniment with a professional guide, planning and management of the excursion, training on the correct progression with the use of snowshoes and poles, notes on the flora, fauna and geology of the surrounding environment, demonstration of the use of beacon-shovel-probe, insurance customer accidents, insurance in case of recovery, satellite messaging in case of emergency.
The fee does not include: packed lunches or lunches in the refuge (in the latter case the cost of the guide's lunch must be divided between the participants), equipment rental, costs for any shared transport, anything not included in the "the fee includes" item .
Meeting: 9:00 am in All'Acqua, Bedretto (CH) (Possibility of agreeing to share the journey by car).
The customer must present himself at the meeting point or at the starting point of the excursion at the time indicated in the communication that will follow after registration.
Upon completion of registration, the customer will be added to a temporary WhatsApp group which will be used for service communications, updates and useful information for the excursion.
Necessary material:
Waterproof boots or walking boots, no sneakers;
Ski trousers or waterproof trouser covers;
Ski gloves;
Hiking backpack with a minimum capacity of 20lt with wide shoulder straps, ergonomic backrest and waist belt for weight distribution;
Clothing in relation to the season and the weather, in any case it is always advisable to dress in layers;
Rain jacket;
Down filled comforter;
Hat and gloves;
Poles with washer;
Snowshoes (available for rental);
Avalanche beacon, shovel and probe (available for rental);
Front light;
Mandatory minimum water reserve of one and a half liters, mineral salts and/or supplements recommended;
Food to your taste and liking.
For equipment rental it is necessary to notify a few days in advance.
