About the event
Snowshoe hike in the wonderful scenery of the Upper Engadine, starting from the large Lake Sils and reaching a beautiful alpine lake, surrounded by wild peaks: the Lagh da Lunghin, dominated by the piers of Piz Grevasalvas and Piz Lunghin.
The views of Lake Sils and the town of Maloja seen from above and the peaks of the Masino-Bregaglia group in the background are wonderful.

The fee includes: accompaniment with a professional guide, planning and management of the excursion, training on the correct progression with the use of snowshoes and poles, notes on the flora, fauna and geology of the surrounding environment, demonstration of the use of artva-shovel-probe, insurance customer accidents, insurance in case of recovery, satellite messaging in case of emergency.
The fee does not include: packed lunches or lunches in the refuge (in the latter case the cost of the guide's lunch must be divided between the participants), equipment rental, costs for any shared transport, anything not included in the "the fee includes" item .
Meeting: 9:00 am in Capolago (Maloggia, CH)
The customer must present himself at the meeting point or at the starting point of the excursion at the time indicated in the communication that will follow after registration.
Upon completion of registration, the customer will be added to a temporary WhatsApp group which will be used for service communications, updates and useful information for the excursion.
Mandatory material:
Waterproof boots or walking boots, no sneakers;
Ski trousers or waterproof trouser covers;
Ski gloves;
Hiking backpack with a minimum capacity of 20lt with wide shoulder straps, ergonomic backrest and waist belt for weight distribution;
Clothing in relation to the season and the weather, in any case it is always advisable to dress in layers;
Rain jacket;
Down filled comforter;
Hat and gloves;
Sticks with washer;
Snowshoes (available for rental);
Avalanche transceiver, shovel and probe (available for rental);
Compulsory minimum water reserve of one litre, mineral salts and/or supplements recommended;
Headlamp;
Food to your taste and liking.
For equipment rental it is necessary to notify a few days in advance.
