Adamello Express

Path Number 1 - Alta Via dell’Adamello is the main Adamello hiking itinerary, to be covered in several stages, for a length of about 85 km, with a route that winds between 350 and 3,000 meters above sea level.

The territories crossed, enclosed in the Adamello Regional Park, are a true environmental and landscape excellence, with numerous examples of flora and fauna of great naturalistic value.

The entire trekking area, together with the Pian di Neve area on Mount Adamello, between 1915 and 1918 was the scene of some events of the First World War, which at these altitudes was renamed the White War and still bears many testimonies of that great tragedy.
